Poppy Seed Potatoes

- 1 tbs oil
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tbs cumin, ground
- 2 lg yuk on gold potatoes
- 1 cup water or vegetable broth
- 6 tbs poppy seeds, ground to paste
- 3 tbs cilantro, minced
- to taste salt
- 1 lime lime juice
Saute oil, turmeric, chili powder, and cumin for 1 minute. Add potatoes that are cut into 1" cubes. Stir well and simmer for 20 minutes until nearly done. Add poppy seeds and cook 5 minutes. Add cilantro, lime, and salt. Serve.
