Crockpot Grains
From Gem's Vegetarian Cooking

- 1 cup grains - lentils, barley, millet, rice, etc
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 1 cup green pepper, chopped
- 1/2 cup carrot, finely chopped
- 1 lb beans, kidney, pinto, etc
- 8 oz tomato sauce
- 1 1/2 cup frozen corn
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp basil
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- to taste salt
- 2 1/2 cups water
Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
