Cornmeal Griddle Cakes

- 3/4 cup whole wheat flour
- 3/4 cup cornmeal
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 2 egg whites, beaten stiff
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 tbs oil
Combine dry ingredients and liquid separately then together. Fold in egg whites.
