Chocolate Velvet Ice Cream

- 2/3 cup white sugar
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3 egg yolks, beaten
- 2 2/3 cup heavy cream
- 1/3 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Mix together sugar and cocoa. Beat in egg yolks. Add cream a little at a time. Chill mixture.
Grate chocolate chips and stir into cream mixture.
Pour mixture into ice cream maker and follow normal procedures.
