Canning:
Syrups:
Light - 1 cup sugar and 3 cups water
Medium - 1 cup sugar and 2 cups water
Heavy - 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water.

Time:
pears - 25 minutes
tomatoes - 35 minutes
apricots, peaches, cherries, plums - 20 minutes
applesauce - 20 minutes.
