Apple Cherry Nut Bread

- 6 Tablespoon Margarine
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 2 Eggs, or 4 egg whites
- 1 Teaspoon Lemon Peel
- 1 cup Applesauce
- 2 Tablespoon Milk
- 2 Cups Flour
- 1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon soda
- 1/4 Teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup walnuts, or pecans
- 1/4 cup chopped Maraschino Cherries
Cream Margarine and sugar together. Add eggs. Mix well. Add rest of ingredients except nuts and cherries. Mix then add them. Divide into 2 Pam'd bread pans. Makes 2 one pound loaves. Bake 350 degrees for about 35 Min.
